Alternately, you can do your straining through cheesecloth. Use multiple layers for more filtration. Put your cheesecloth over the top of a large mixing bowl. Secure the sides with a rubber band. Pour the mixture into the bowl. If you can get cheesecloth, this method is often preferred because you can filter more at a time than you can with a coffee strainer.
The method of draining is identical for stovetop and slow cooker methods. Place a cheesecloth lined strainer over a large pot or bowl and strain the liquid through this. Before discarding plant material, pour a large kettle full of boiling water over the full strainer in order to wash through any extra oil clinging to the plant material. Allow to cool then squeeze out as much liquid as possible. Discard the plant material. If you are using a solid at room temperature fat like coconut oil or shortening, chill water and oil. The infused oil will harden into a solid when chilled making it easy for you to simply lift the piece off of the water below and discard the water.
Preheat your oven to 370 degrees. Put your canna butter in a large mixing bowl and mix in your vanilla extract and sugar. Use another bowl and mix your flour, salt, and baking soda. Stir in your eggs, brown sugar, chips, and all other ingredients, mixing in just enough water to make a hard semi-solid. Now stir in your canna butter and size your cookies by how much weed you used. If you used a half ounce, make at least 14 cookies. Each cookie will be equal to one large bowl of smoked marijuana. Remember effects take at least an hour, so don’t eat too many cookies but enjoy just one cookie or a half and you will get amazing results.
Not only that but adding cannabis butter to a burger is a lot easier than most people think. By mixing cannabis butter with ketchup, mayonnaise, or mustard, you can make any beefy (or veggie) burger medicated. Adding the cannabis butter will give you a delicious meal that will give you a long lasting high. Keep that method in mind for when this burger is complete, fried cannabis leaves in all.
How do you grind your weed? You can use a quality cannabis grinder which you can buy at our store. You can use a food processor or a coffee grinder, although you’d probably want to designate a processor or coffee grinder specifically for that use (unless you don’t mind leaving a little residual flavor, which could be a good thing if you like your morning cup of Joe to taste like Bubba Kush).
When about an hour has passed, you can puree the blueberries, along with the lime juice and 1/8 of a cup of water. Once the mixture is about halfway done pureeing, you can add in the rest of the cannabis honey just like you did with the raspberry mix. Continue to blend everything together until it is smooth. Pour the mix through the clean sieve in to a clean bowl. Again, you can choose to eat or discard the seeds. Take the molds out of the freeze for the last time and (before pouring the blueberry mix in), put a popsicle stick in each mold. Then, fill them until they are less than 1/2 an inch from the top. Stick them back in the freezer for a solid two hours. Once they’ve completely frozen, remove them and quickly run them under warm water to loosen the sides. Serve to yourself or your friends. Yes it would work to just decarb during the cooking, but when we lab testing back to back edibles, those made with kief that had been decarbed first has about a 30% higher potency than those made with kief that only decarbed during the cooking process. That’s why I always recommend taking the extra step to decarb BEFORE cooking, even if it will be debarbed during as well.
Set aside two tablespoons of hemp seeds in a small owl. Take the remaining hemp seeds, cacao powder, salt, and walnuts it to a small food processor and pulse for 10 seconds until the mixture is finely ground. Take half of the dates and the vanilla extract and add them in. Puree everything for about 15 seconds and then move it to a mixing bowl. Form 15 to 18 small meatball sized balls and roll them in the remaining hemp seeds to give the a nice covering. Set the balls in a container and let them sit in the fridge for about two hours. You can enjoy them then or wait and store them in the fridge like stated above! Enjoy!
For some reason the majority of internet sites tell people to finely grind the marijuana being used to infuse marijuana butter or cannabis oil. There is even a commercially made electronic gadget for making marijuana butter that includes a built in electric grinder. I have never understood this advice. If you want better tasting edibles, DO NOT FINELY GRIND THE MARIJUANA! What you are trying the extract, the plant’s resinous trichomes, are ON the buds and leaves not IN them! All grinding accomplishes is to put more plant material into the finished product which in turn increases green color and unwanted herbal flavors.
“Oh, yeah. There’s a lot more shit weed than there is high-quality cannabis.”The edible portion of the evening commenced. In the dining room, the conversation turned, inevitably, to the subject of the Times columnist Maureen Dowd, who, in 2014, shortly after the first licensed cannabis retailers opened for business, travelled to Denver and bought a cannabis chocolate bar. Back in her hotel room, she ate part of the bar, and then, when she felt nothing, ate some more. She described what happened next in that week’s column:

Cons: Because cannabinoids are multiplied and long lasting by eating, the effect can be intense, and any amount of THC will be amplified. A narcotic effect can be possible if supplemental cannabinoids are foreign to your body. A tolerance to the high, if any effect persists, will be quick to come within a few rounds of application so it is advised to go with the flow and be patient for the High CBD Hash Oil to work as intended. Some users however report not feeling any effect on High CBD medication because it is mostly non-psychoactive. Allow enough time to feel a desired effect because everybody’s metabolism is different. On average users will feel the effect after 2 hours of consumption but some users report not feeling any effect until 3 or 4 hours after ingesting medication, so you must be patient. Results will vary. Cooking cannabis is about as labor intensive as making candy. To those that have done it before, it can be very easy but the first time can be tough. The ratios of cannabinoids can be tough to navigate so keep an open mind as to how many cannabinoids you may actually consume at one time.
As always, be sure to preheat your oven, this time to 400 degrees. Take a large mixing bowl and combine salt, pepper, medicated trail mix, flour, cannabis, can cheese. Mix everything together well. Be sure to clean your salmon pieces well and then coat them in the flour mixture and set them aside on a piece of tinfoil or wax paper. Using a 9×13 baking pan, melt the cannabutter in the oven that you’ve already preheated. Once the butter is melted, place the salmon steaks on the pan and baste the side facing up with some of the butter in the pan. Bake them like this, uncovered for about 15 minutes. Turn them over and turn the heat in the oven down to 350 and bake them for another 15 minutes or until they’re tender. Serve them while they’re hot, possibly with a side of cannabis seasoned veggies!
Like any cannabis edible, your hash or kief infused food needs some fat, or alcohol, to help it metabolize effectively. Take the cannabis, lime juice, water, green onion, and the oil and place it in the crock pot. Cook the materials on low for about two hours. Once two hours has gone by, place the apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, tomato paste, chili powder, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, honey, ground ginger, cayenne pepper, and the apricot nectar in to the crockpot with the previously cooked mixture.
