Once you have BHO-infused butter, Catalano suggests a few easy homemade edibles. Make a quick honey spread for two pieces of toast by mixing a half-teaspoon of BHO butter with one tablespoon raw honey and a pinch of cinnamon. In sauce or stew recipes, use one half-teaspoon of BHO butter for each individual serving size. If you feel like baking, here’s an additional step to a baked apple recipe. When baking a large stuffed apple, use one half-teaspoon of BHO butter for each apple. That sounds delicious! XO
So your oven should be preheating. Sift together the baking soda, salt, flour, and baking powder. Set these items aside. In a different bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the butter for about 45 seconds. Add in your lavender flowers and sugar in a consistent stream. Be sure to pause and scrape the side of the bowl to make sure that everything is getting mixed in. Beat everything together on medium power until the substance is fluffy and light. Then, keeping the mixer on medium speed, add in the eggs, beating steadily until everything is combined.
Take 1/4 or 1/2 teaspoon of your oil as a personal dose and add it to a food or drink. Wait an hour and see how you feel. This will help you determine what an appropriate single dose would be. Once you’ve determined how much oil yields your desired effects, multiply that dose per serving if making a shareable batch (if making a cake, pizza, a pitcher, etc.). Or simply scoop that perfect dose onto each individual dish (if infusing a plate of pasta, a cup of coffee, a piece of toast, etc.).
