Tincture is a great way to alleviate any sort of body pain. It is fast acting and easy to take whenever and where ever. Finding recipes to make this stuff is pretty difficult, especially if you’re looking to avoid making it with alcohol, as most do. While the alcohol method is easy, it takes a good amount of time and can be a problem for people with low alcohol tolerance and sensitive stomachs. A good alternative to this is glycerin, which is pretty much just sugar. It’s sweet and can be taken by itself. Plus you can still drive while taking it, something that isn’t recommended with the alcohol based tincture.
No! That would be disastrous. Hash and kief are NOTHING like flour. You can make your regular cookie recipe with the regular amount of flour and simply stir in an appropriate amount of finely ground decarboxylated kief or hash that will give you the dose you are seeking into your batter and bake as usual. But hash and kief are by no means a substitute for flour.
Your recipe will need to contain either a fat or an oil-based ingredient that can be infused with the cannabis concentrate. Such fats include butter, ghee, lard, shortening and other vegetable or nut oils. If your recipe does not list a “fat” ingredient, you can dilute the cannabis concentrate in a small amount of your favorite spirits: vodka, rum, cognac, etc.
Cons: Because cannabinoids are multiplied and long lasting by eating, the effect can be intense, and any amount of THC will be amplified. A narcotic effect can be possible if supplemental cannabinoids are foreign to your body. A tolerance to the high, if any effect persists, will be quick to come within a few rounds of application so it is advised to go with the flow and be patient for the High CBD Hash Oil to work as intended. Some users however report not feeling any effect on High CBD medication because it is mostly non-psychoactive. Allow enough time to feel a desired effect because everybody’s metabolism is different. On average users will feel the effect after 2 hours of consumption but some users report not feeling any effect until 3 or 4 hours after ingesting medication, so you must be patient. Results will vary. Cooking cannabis is about as labor intensive as making candy. To those that have done it before, it can be very easy but the first time can be tough. The ratios of cannabinoids can be tough to navigate so keep an open mind as to how many cannabinoids you may actually consume at one time.

The effects of the weed lollipop are just as good as those of baked weed, but it comes on even slower, over an hour or two, and lasts even longer. Since it takes a while to dissolve the lollipop, you may be able to suck a lollipop for an hour, then immediately have another. You won’t have to worry about dosing because the time it takes to consume the lollipop will force you to be unable to overdose, unless of course you chew the lollipop rather than sucking. So, suck the weed lollipop, let it take at least an hour, and you can have another while waiting for the effects to begin over the next hour.
Hi my question is different but j hope you can answer it. I have a slow cooker that I let someone borrow to make butter in. It has been washed. Is it ok to use to cook my regular family meals and potluck foods without worry of left over residue interfering. I would hate to bring something to a potluck or my young children and they have marijuana in it.

Dosing remains highly individualized and varies according to your symptoms and strength of the cannabis strain being used. As a general rule, try and maintain easily understood ratios between amounts of cannabis and butter or oil being infused. If your infused oil or butter is particularly strong, consider using only half infused and half non-infused, or whichever ratio works best for your specific needs. It’s incredibly important to keep your edibles out of reach of children or anyone else in your household who should not be using them. Preheat your oven to 350 F and line a non insulated cookie sheet with parchment paper. Take a knife or kitchen shears and CAREFULLY remove the kale leaves from the thicker stems. Cut up the leaves in to small, chip sized pieces. The actual size of the chip is up to you. I made mine about 1 inch by 1 inch. Be sure to wash the leaves thoroughly and dry them. Some people have access to a salad spinner but for those that don’t, I used paper towels and blotted them dry. Lay the kale out on the cookie sheet and slowly pour the cannabis olive oil over the the kale chips and then sprinkles with the sea salt and pepper, as well as any other spices that you’d like to add in. Place the chips in the oven and bake them until the edges begin to turn brown, absolutely no longer than 10 minutes. Let the chips cool off for a bit and your healthy, medicated snack is ready!

One of my good friends sent me this recipe and it looks really delicious actually. I don’t tend to like hummus but I would definitely recommend trying this recipe out if you’re looking for something new to try. Not only that but hummus has amazing health benefits, including high amounts of fiber and protein. Since hummus also contains beans, hummus has the potential to lower cholesterol and reduce the risk of cancer. If you’re looking for a new healthy sandwich spread or chip dip, give this hummus a shot (it’ll also get you stoned so if it doesn’t taste that great, at least it’ll have a good effect).
I am the only person I know of who does not recommend you finely grind your weed. I do not understand whay so many people are obsessed with finely grinding the plant material. What you are trying to extract is ON the plant, not in it. The more grinding, the more plant particulate in your food and the yuckier the flavor, IMO. I use a coarse hand grinder or my fingers to break up the plant material, no more.

To avoid any smell in my house (we have teenage children) could i bake it in a sealed oven bag? If yes, would this affect times and temps? Thanks for your help.

First, take the leaves and stems in to the jug. Use as much of the cannabis as possible. This recipe is very good for growers who are looking to recycle all of their plants. Take the fruit and squeeze the juice out, adding it to the jug. Be sure to use fresh fruit. The canned stuff just doesn’t taste the same. On your stove, boil 3 quarts of water. Be sure to use a non aluminum pan , as well as non stick. Dissolve the sugar/honey mix in to the water. Once it’s fully dissolved, pour the mix in to the jug, place the cap on tightly and shake well. Set the jug aside to cool after loosening the cap. Using warm water, dissolve the yeast cake completely and then check to see if the water in the jug has cooled. If it has, pour in the yeast mixture in with the water, making sure to leave room at the top. Add in about two inches of cool water, leaving enough room to cover the top with the cap loosely. Put the jug somewhere dark and let it sit for about two weeks. Every so often, remove the cap and push the contents of the jug down with a wooden spoon. Remember to loosely close the top after. Sometimes, liquid will spill over. Be sure to wipe it if so. This process should last about two weeks. Add in small amounts of cool water every few days and remember to keep pushing the contents down. When two weeks have passed, you can begin to see if the fermentation process has completed. Tilt the jug and if no bubbles rise from the bottom of the jug, it’s done. Do not shake the contents o the jug.
States that have legalized recreational use, including Colorado and California, have reported in recent years an uptick in marijuana-related emergency room visits, because inexperienced users often over indulge. The recipes in this book are quite different than what I was expecting, but are delicious nonetheless. The instructions for making cannabutter/ghee and cannaflour are very useful, though in practice not always as easy as stated. All the recipes are very easily adapted to exclude the cannabis, and are very good on their own. Many recipes call for adding fresh pot to the dish (e.g. tossing ground buds into a salad, or stirring some into guacamole), and the taste can be quite strong. This cookbook isn't for someone just looking for brownie and cookie recipes. Many dishes included are somewhat labour intensive, but are certainly beneficial for medicinal marijuana patients looking to maintain a steady level of THC in their bodies, as the book contains recipes for any time of day. I would suggest trying a recipe out first without the pot, to work out any kinks. The recipes are meant to replace smoking marijuana (as that was the author's goal), so the proportions might seem a bit staggering at first. It's hard to watch 1/4 oz. get turned into hot chocolate, but that's why I suggest trying the recipes out pot-free first. It's easier than wasting good bud on a dish you don't like. All in all, it's a good cookbook, with well-thought-out recipes, and many interesting facts about cannabis and the people who've made history in the world of pot.

You might be wondering why I include water as an ingredient.  Including water, especially when infusing marijuana oil on the stovetop, insures the cannabis will never reach a higher temperature than the boiling point or 212 degrees F.  More importantly, the chlorophyll and terpenes – the parts of the plant that give it its flavor and color — are water soluble and most will likewise bind to water during the cooking process instead of infusing themselves into the fats along with the THC.  This will mean less herbal flavor and green color in the finished marijuana oil.

Depending on how many baked goods you’d like to make, it should be somewhat easy to divide it up accordingly, once you’ve determined how many mgs of THC you have in your batch. The maximum legal amount in recreationally available edibles ranges from 5mg to 20mg per edible, depending on state law, however you’re not bound by these limitations. If you’re not sure about your perfect dose or are inexperienced with edibles, 3-5 mgs would be a good starting point.

I love using my Instant Pot to make marijuana butter, as there is almost no smell while it is cooking. Follow the directions on this page, using the Instant Pot’s slow cooker setting (I usually use the high setting, you could also use the medium setting, personal preference). I guess you could pressure cook it, but temps are hotter and the bits of plant material are the types of things that love to clog pressure cooker valves, so I prefer to use the slow cooker setting instead of the Pressure cooking setting. So follow the slow cooker instructions at the link below and you are good to go.
Preheat your over to 350 degrees F. While it heats up, mix the butter and the sugars together until they’re a very creamy, smooth consistency. Grab the two eggs and beat them in to the mix. After that, add in the baking soda and the flour, while still stirring consistently. Slowly pour the 1/4 cup of water in, along with all of the oatmeal packets. Continue to stir the mix until everything combines well. The mixture should be similar to cookie dough. Take bits of the mixture and roll them in to balls and place them on to a greased up cookie sheet. Place them in the preheated over for around 13-15 minutes until they are a golden brown color. Once they’ve hit that point, remove them from the oven and place them on to a plate to allow them to fully cool off. Now they’re ready to eat! Enjoy!
Pour the ounce of ground cannabis into the upper chamber and mix well with the wooden spoon. Allow the mixture to continue to simmer for 30-40 minutes, stirring regularly, until the liquefied butter turns emerald green. While the butter is infusing, wipe out the large mixing bowl that held the cannabis, stretch a piece of cheese cloth across the rim and secure it with a rubber band.

Since this recipe is designed to be pretty stoney, your first step is to heat up your THC oil in a medium sized pan over low heat. Add in your keif as well and let it simmer. Never let the mixture boil, as you’ll lose precious THC to the heat. Allow to simmer for about ten minutes, stirring constantly and keeping an eye on it. You can add more keif in if you want or if you’d prefer a less strong end result, you can substitute normal olive oil for the THC oil. Remember that eating you cannabis effects you differently then smoking it and you should know your tolerance before making your edibles too strong.


Check out ethanol (everclear) extraction methods. Its pretty much a green dragon, then at a low temp (110 or so) evaporate all the alcohol left. I usually keep the tincture heated till oil is pretty much the only thing left. Use that oil in anything and dont bake over 350. It is already activated and decarbed if you decarbed before adding the cannabis to the everclear, so it doesnt need high temperatures again in order to feel the effects. Eating this oil raw works.
