Ratios and amounts are a personal thing. The recipes on this site use 1/2 ounce per cup of butter, for myself i usually use double that amount. Many different extraction methods are detailed, including cannabutter, vegetable oils, and even nut butters. The thing that makes this cookbook really unique is the dosing chart, which allows you to find exactly the right dose while you are cooking and measuring out your cannabis infused oils. This means no more surprises and doses that you can customize for your particular needs.
If you are baking snacks or desserts like cookies, cakes, brownies, candies or anything else you enjoy eating and are using marijuana in the recipe to get you high, you need to practice and stay patient as every recipe varies and everyone’s thc tolerance levels are different. Some of the most common recipes with marijuana in them are also the most “user-friendly” recipes. A standard dose of a CBD-rich oil begins at 10 mg – or 1ml (depending on the equivalency). However, it’s also possible to microdose at 2.5 to 5 milligrams daily. For more severe conditions, a much higher dose may be needed – and some patients are known to go up to 1 gram per day. However, a daily gram of cannabis oil is a very large amount and the attention of a cannabis-savvy doctor is always best. 

Summer calls for awesome snacks! Ice cream especially is something that stoners love to munch on. It cures both the munchies and cotton mouth, placing it at the top of the stoner food pyramid. The following recipe will give you about a quart of delicious (and of course, medicated) key lime pie. You’ll be sure to love this amazing creation and your friends will be incredibly impressed by how good and baked this ice cream will get them!
All you have to do to get your medicated mayo is whisk together the egg yolks, the salt, vinegar, lemon juice, and mustard together. Make sure it’s mixed up well. Slowly add in the cannabis oil while still whisking the mixture. Do this carefully or risk making a huge mess. Once the oil is completely added in, continue to whisk the mixture until is begins to thicken. If it gets too thick, you can add a few drops of water to get the right consistency. Put the mayo in an airtight container and let it chill in the refrigerator for about two hours.

After the liquid forms the thin layer of ice, remove the bowl from the freezer. Don’t let the liquid swish around or you’ll disturb the settled trichomes. Using a turkey baster or something similar, slowly remove the liquid from the bowl. This is a time consuming process because you can’t disturb the settled matter at the bottom. Once the liquid gets down to a very low level, you can use paper towels to help absorb. After you’ve removed the liquid, take a hair dryer to the mixture, carefully drying it. The mixture should get lighter and be about the same color all the way around.


In the microwave, melt the last two cups of chocolate chips and butter. When the mixture is smooth, drop a few of the frozen balls in at a time and stir vigorously. Quickly remove the balls and place on a wax paper lined cookie sheet. Let them cool and harden, then wrap them or eat them as desired. You can buy fancy wrappings for these and use them as stocking stuffers or you can eat them yourself or even serve them at parties! Enjoy!
As always, you first preheat the oven. This recipe calls for the oven to be set to 375 degrees. Grab a mixing bowl and mix in your sugars and the cannabutter, mixing them together well. Add in your eggs, pudding mix, and vanilla. Stir everything together until the mixture is creamy. Mix together the flour and baking soda and gradually add in to the mixing bowl. Stir everything together well (use a mixer if it makes you more comfortable). Then, proceed to stir in the chocolate chips. Measuring them out by the teaspoonful, place the cookies on to an ungreased baking sheet (Or you can grease it with some cannabutter to give the cookies an even stronger effect). Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for about 11 minutes or until they are lightly browned. Allow the cookies to cool before serving and enjoy your new twist on an old favorite!
Like any cannabis edible, your hash or kief infused food needs some fat, or alcohol, to help it metabolize effectively.  If you do want to add hash or kief to a fat free food, be sure to accompany the food with another dish that does contain some fat, or wash it down a glass of milk, or coffee or tea with cream, or some other fat containing beverage in order to achieve a maximum effect.
Best advice? Don’t ruin food with weed. Eat some cannabutter on a cracker, with some peanut butter if you’re a wimp, then eat your food without the a** taste of weed. And the advice about getting the food too hot is complete nonsense. You smoke weed, vape it, at temperatures far higher than recommended here, and guess what? You get high. Want some oil or butter in 30-40 minutes? As a starter batch, melt 2 sticks of unsalted butter, and add a 1/4 ounce of ground up bud. Cook it medium to medium low, watching for foaming. When it starts foaming, turn it down a bit, and keep taking it off the heat. Once you have the butter at simmer, all the moisture in the weed will bubble out. Once the weed quits foaming, you’re done. Use a strainer to get it into a heat resistant container, and don’t burn your fool self. Let it cool, then put it in the fridge to solidify. Once it’s hardened you can put in a baggie or container so your fridge doesn’t stink like cannabutter. Once you get practiced up, it’s a cinch. No sense jacking around for hours on end when you can get ‘er done in less than an hour. Good luck, and DON’T BURN YOURSELF! And when you test it, go easy, and wait at least 3 hours to make sure you don’t eat too much and make yourself miserable.
